When we initially set up an HP LaserJet Pro M429fdn printer, we noticed that the scanner wasn't functioning correctly. Fortunately, there is a straightforward solution. The printer driver was installed successfully using the accompanying software. However, when we attempted to scan, we encountered the following issue:

Because this is not a big issue, This type of issue comes in all printers(HP LaserJet Pro M429fdn) when you install the first-time printer. Actually, this problem occurs due to the feature not being enabled in the printer. Follow some steps to enable this feature:
Step1:-
First, try accessing its settings. To access the settings, press the home button on the printer, followed by the back button. Press the continue button 3 to 4 times in a sequence, like this: if 1 represents the home button and 2 represents the back button, start by pressing 1, then 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, ... until you open the Advanced Printer Configuration.
Step2:-
Here, the advanced printer configuration will open, and then a switch named "Webscan" will appear, which needs to be clicked on.When you enable 'WebSCAN,' the scanning features are automatically activated. If you attempt to scan your document using computer software, it will scan easily. However, 'WebSCAN' is off by default and needs to be enabled in the settings.
